Some of the allergens the platform suggests when you add an ingredient come from public databases. They are credited here, as their licences require.
Open Food Facts
Contains information from Open Food Facts (https://world.openfoodfacts.org), which is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
Read the ODbL v1.0 licenceThese suggestions are a starting point, never the allergen declaration itself. Under Article 8 of Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 the declaration belongs to the operator marketing the food and rests on its suppliers' specification sheets. The platform stamps every suggested value with its origin so it is never mistaken for a confirmed one.
