Workforce

Shifts and time records without arguments.

Geolocated check-in, inspection exports and offline mode when coverage fails. Labour packs per jurisdiction — Spain's Ley 1/2025 live today.

What does a shift record have to survive?

An inspection. Check-in is digital and can be geolocated, it keeps working when coverage drops, and the export is the structured file a labour inspector asks for. The rules arrive as a labour pack per jurisdiction; Spain's, with Ley 1/2025, is the one live today.

Digital check-in with optional geolocation, offline mode, structured export for inspection — configured by default.

What does this cost today?

  1. Labor inspection without exportInspection arrives asking for 90 days of check-ins in exportable format. You have it in a spreadsheet nobody audits.
  2. Shift swap by WhatsAppTwo bakers swap shifts via WhatsApp. Nobody records it. You pay overtime to one and not to the other.
  3. Basement without coverageThe basement has no signal. The baker can't clock in. Spanish law says they must — no excuse.

What is underneath?

  1. Legal check-inGeolocation, timestamp, offline mode. Ley 1/2025 ready.
  2. Swap workflowEmployee A proposes change, employee B accepts, manager approves. All traceable.
  3. Leave managementVacation, sick leave, paternity leave. One calendar per shop.
  4. Competency trackingWho can do what. Alerts if a skill drops to 0 qualified people.
  5. The Android app works with no signalA check-in made in the cold room queues on the device and syncs by itself when coverage returns — nothing is lost and nothing is entered twice. The app's native bars follow the theme you chose, so it reads like an app rather than a web page in a frame.
  6. A shop manager sees their shopAccess is scoped to the locations a person actually runs: their rota, their attendance, their costs. The scope is carried in the session itself, so it holds on every screen and on every export — not just on the ones that remembered to check.

What else gets asked before deciding?

  • What does Spain's Ley 1/2025 require exactly?

Mandatory time record from 11 employees (or fewer if sector agreement). 4-year retention. Structured export available to Inspection. BakeWise complies by default.

  • Offline check-in?

Yes. Basement without coverage = check-in saved locally on the device and synced when coverage returns. Timestamp preserved. Your legal obligation is met.

  • Is geolocation mandatory?

No, but recommended. If you disable it, check-in remains valid but without location evidence. Your accountant decides whether to require it.

  • In what format does it export for Inspection?

Structured CSV or JSON: one row per check-in, with employee, shop, timestamp and type. We deliberately do not offer a PDF here — the inspection asks for a machine-readable record, and a rendered document would be a weaker one. Retention runs the four years the law requires.

  • How does shift swap work?

Employee A proposes change via app. Employee B sees proposal, accepts or rejects. Manager receives notification, approves if no schedule conflict. All registered — accountant doesn't have to search WhatsApps.
